New York Penn Station pickup and drop-off
New York Penn Station and Moynihan Train Hall are connected parts of the same rail complex, but the entrance matters. Moynihan lies west of Eighth Avenue; Penn Station is across Eighth Avenue. Tell us your rail operator and train number so we can coordinate an appropriate drop-off or pickup.
Amtrak and Long Island Rail Road passengers can use Moynihan. NJ TRANSIT passengers should follow their carrier’s Penn Station concourse instructions. A general “Penn Station” address alone may leave you on the wrong side of the complex for your intended meeting point.
For an arrival, keep your phone available and confirm your exit with the chauffeur before walking outside. Share the street, avenue and nearby entrance sign if you are unsure where you are. Midtown traffic, event crowds and curb restrictions may require a different legal pickup location.
Amtrak currently identifies the mid-block area on West 33rd Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues for Moynihan passenger pickup and drop-off.
